How to Apply to Disney Dreamers Academy 2017

To apply, teens must answer a series of essay questions. A panel of esteemed judges will judge the essays and select the winner based one several benchmarks, including the students’ desire to pursue their dreams and the students’ character.

Planned appearances from celebrities are planned to inspire and inform the students on how they can continue to pursue their dreams. The Disney Dreamers Academy is now in it’s 10th year.

To enter, you’ll have to submit a photo or video on Twitter on Instagram that reveals your New Year’s resolution. You have until April 1, 2016 to enter this round of the contest. There’s a second round to the contest, too.

Five applicants will be randomly chosen to go on to the second round. Their entries will be posted online. Visitors will vote for the entries they like. One winner will receive airfare to Bangkok and five nights there. You can see some examples of New Years resolution posts and read the contest rules on Thailand Tourism Authority’s site.

The Prize

The Grand Prize Winner plus one guest will receive a trip to Belize City, Belize for 7 days/ 6 nights, staying in a double room. Two nights will be spent in Belize City, and 4 nights in the seaside resort town of San Pedro.

The trip will include lots of extras such as cave tubing and zip-lining at Jaquar Paw, a guided tour of Belize City, including entry to Belize Zoo, and a snorkeling and diving trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley.

Airport transfers, taxes for accommodation and airfare are all taken care of, as well as $1,500 spending money! The approximate retail value of the whole Grand Prize is $10,000.

The Country

The Caribbean country of Belize is the paradise of Central America, bordering Mexico and Guatemala.

The commercial capital is Belize City, home to 80,000 inhabitants, is centrally located on the Caribbean coast. The city is split into two areas, North and South. The North side has good hotels, a casino and the Museum of Belize. Southside is the historic St. John’s Cathedral and the House of Culture.

The city has a colonial charm in the British style streets once populated by bicycles, mules and carts. The old city is built up around the port, as the city was originally built up as a logging camp and export centre for mahogany in the 1600s.

San Pedro is the country’s most popular tourist resort town. It is famous for the ancient Mayan ruin of Altan Ha, the Belize Zoo, and several wildlife sanctuaries. The once sleepy fishing village has grown into a tourist town, most notable for its fantastic scuba diving opportunities and its stunning white beaches.

The Sweepstakes

This competition is open to legal residents of 48 states, not including Alaska and Hawaii. Entries can only be made by persons age 21 and older. The sweepstakes ends at 5 p.m. ET on February 19, 2016.

One Grand Prize Winner will be selected from a random drawing from all eligible entries by an independent judging organization. The prize will be drawn around February 26, 2016, and the winner will be contacted by phone shortly after.

The winner must sign and complete some forms within five days of receiving the prize notification. If the winner fails to comply with any of the requirements, an alternative winner will be selected. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
