On the Opryland Gaylord property, visitors will find a 48-foot tall Christmas tree, more than 15,000 poinsettia’s, and the resort’s Atrium is lit with beautiful lights in the shape of musical notes and musical instruments.

Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers will perform during a dinner show at the resort and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the popular story by Dr. Seuss will delight audiences at the resort from November 20, 2015 through December 27, 2015.

From Harbin, China home of one of most beautiful and largest ice sculpture attractions in the world, 40 artisans created Nutcracker-inspired sculptures out of 2 million pounds of ice blocks. There’s even a two-story slide made out of ice. Sponsored by Pepsi, guests can also see the artisans from China carve ice by hand in the Frostbite Factory.

Play in the snow and go tubing on a special Arctic Plunge Snow Tubing hill with 1.5 million pounds of real snow. Throw snowballs at a new attraction, Santa’s Snowball Toss, a game to test your skill at aiming snowballs, or go ice skating on the 6,000 square foot outdoor skating rink, Glacier Glide Ice Skating.

Other attractions at Gaylord Opryland include the Elf on the Shelf Scavenger Hunt, the Gingerbread Decorating Corner, and free activities like the Brightest Star Fountain Show, the Nativity exhibit that tells the story of the Bible through audio technology, and the Parade of Trees, a collection of trees decorated by celebrities and popular musicians. The decorations and presents for the trees are to be auctioned off with the proceeds donated to charities.
