American Airlines will transport the participants to Texas from 84 cites around the world. Nearly 1,000 American Airlines volunteers will help the event run smoothly.

While in Texas, the group will visit  the Walk of Gratitude, which honors the sacrifices that the families and fallen heroes made. They will spend an evening watching the jousting show at Medieval Times, and they will also visit the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Finally, the families will be treated to a concert by Academy Award Nominated actor Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band.

Will Ris will remain on the board for Green Door and has served in the organization in various capacities. He is currently co-chairing the committee for Green Door’s 40th Anniversary Gala.
