]]> The gorgeous Anantara Si Kao Resort and Spa was a part of the spotlight on the February 25th episode of The Bachelor. The 139-room resort is about an hour’s drive away from the Krabi Airport, and it is the only resort on a beach that extends nine miles.  The resort is also next to the Had Chao Mai National Park.

The Thailand Resort Where Sean Lowe Stayed for The Bachelor

Sean Lowe and his dates stayed at this luxury resort in Thailand during the filming of the Week 8 Episode. As far as the excursions are concerned, Sean and AshLee explored a cave called Emerald Cave. Although AshLee was worried that they’d get lost in the cave, she really didn’t have too much to worry about. Emerald Cave, also known as Morakot Cave, is only about 262 feet from the entrance to the exit, according to 7 Thai Wonders. The cave’s exit leads out onto a beautiful beach that is surrounded by emerald waters.

Monkey Beach: Sean in Thailand

In another scene of The Bachelor, Sean Lowe and his date Lindsay played with Monkeys on a beach that is appropriately named, Monkey Beach. Monkey Beach is located in Phi Phi Island, and it is accessible via a tour on a longtail boat. Anyone who would like to visit Monkey Beach, will find it on Yong Kasem Bay on Phi Phi, reports Phuket Travel Secrets. Be careful, though. The monkeys might bite, and it is possible to contract rabies from a monkey bite. Also be aware that there is another destination Thailand, called Monkey Bay, but Sean wrote specifically about Monkey Beach in his blog.

Si Kao Market

There are probably dozens of markets in Thailand, but Sean and Lindsay shopped and sampled bugs at Si Kao Market, the market located in the same vicinity as their resort. They wanted to have a date and experience an ordinary activity, but with all of the exotic and interesting items for sale at the market, the date was far from ordinary. I shopped at the market in Krabi during my visit to Thailand, and I found some beautiful jewelry there.

Finally, Sean and Catherine rode a boat past some gorgeous rocks, which protruded from the ocean. One of the rocks was called Chicken Rock, Sean informed us in his blog. The couple also snorkeled. As you can imagine, snorkeling is a popular activity near Phi Phi, because the water is incredibly clear.
