Butchart Gardens, British Colombia

Sitting on 50 acres, just outside Vancouver, this garden looks and feels like  absolute utopia. Here you will find sculpted trees, flowers of different shapes and sizes with an amazing variety of hues. Butchart Gardens has a spectacular waterfall that seems to offer tranquility to everything and everyone around it. One of the oldest and most beautiful gardens in the world yet, it still manages to maintain its splendor. Butchart is opened year-round and is just as beautiful through the seasons.

Keukenhof Gardens, Netherlands

A little over 60 years old, Keukenhof has over 7 million daffodils, tulips and hyacinths, such a glorious sight when they are all in bloom. The garden features 100 pieces of art work, 7 inspirational gardens and holds 13 flower shows at various times throughout April and May. This gorgeous garden is opened daily during the months of March, April and May.

Versailles, France

Arguably the world’s most famous garden, the magnificence of the Versailles transcends words. Built by Andre Le Notre and built for King Louis XIV, the garden is west of the Versailles palace. Over a thousand men were hired to carry dirt and trees from all over France to place over the woods and marshes that previously stood where this masterpiece is now erected. Two large ponds and beautiful flowers, manicured lawns, huge fountains and European style sculptures can be found throughout the garden.

The Garden of Cosmic Speculation, Scotland

This garden gives the feeling of “Alice in Wonderland.” Everything seems surreal. Although the garden has a variety of beautiful flowers, they are all second place to the elegantly constructed structures throughout the garden, which give evidence that the Cosmic Speculation’s design was influenced by math and science. Steel plate designs and “black holes” give a warp sense of reality and forces the mind to think. Nonetheless, it is still an exceptional garden.

Jardim Botânico de Curitiba, Brazil

Opened in 1991, the garden is located in the state capital Paraná. This botanical garden has French style waterfalls and lakes and several green houses for hosting many of its plants from tropical regions. The Jardim Botânico is simply exquisite. It is a major tourist attraction; its botanical museum experiences a lot of traffic from all over the world.

Miracle Garden, Dubai

The Miracle Garden in Dubai has more than 45 million flowers. The garden is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the longest wall of flowers in the world.
