Between now and September 2016 the Four Seasons Resort on the grounds of Walt Disney World is offering a special package for families. When making reservations for three nights in a row, families will get the fourth night free of charge. The package the resort is offering also includes transportation to and from all four parks. There is a separate ticket package that offered by the resort that includes a set number of park tickets. The ticket package is meant for family vacations lasting from four to seven days. For families that want to stay in the lap of luxury, this is the best deal.

Families that are members of Costco can use their membership to obtain a Disney World travel package. The package includes five nights’ of accommodations at the Melia Orlando Suite Hotel. Families receive free transportation between parks and the hotel as well as a free shuttle service to take them to Downtown Disney. It also includes park tickets for five days. The offer is good through mid -June and from the middle to the end of August.

Performed on the grandest stage in the kingdom, the new show “MickeyÕs Royal Friendship Faire,” which debuts June 17, presents Mickey Mouse and his troupe of Merry Makers – Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy Ð who invite 10 new friends from different animated worlds to join the celebration. Walt Disney World itself is offering a deal for the summer of 2016 that runs from the end of May to the end of August. The package includes a four night stay at a Disney World All Star Resorts and four tickets to the park. The purchase of park tickets gets a family of four a free MagicBand.

JetBlue is even offering a summertime deal on a Disney World getaway. When families stay from mid-June to the end of the August they can book a room at specified Disney World Resort hotel at a 30% discounted rate. Airport transportation is included in the deal as well as the extra park hours Disney World has become known for. Families can purchase the room and ticket package through the airline.

Families that belong to AAA have access to a special Disney World deal for the summer. The package AAA is offering includes seven day base tickets for park admission. On each of the seven days families can visit any of the Disney World parks. Transportation between resort hotels and the Orlando airport is included. Also included is transportation to and from the various parks; this includes monorail, bus or boat.

Each of these deals makes it easy for families to experience Disney World without draining their wallets. Booking one of these amazing deals is something that can help turn the dream of visiting Disney World into reality. Families will find that at least one of these deals fits their budget for summer vacation.

The Four Seasons Disney, the latest Walt Disney World luxury resort/hotel,  is located in Disney’s Golden Oak luxury community near the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center in Florida.  The hotel has 444 rooms and 68 suites. Rates range from about $545 a night for a standard Four Seasons room to $1,650 for a Park View Deluxe suite in August 2014. A royal suite and presidential suite are also available.   With amenities like in-resort check-ins, in-room child-care professions to watch your children, and fabulous locations near your favorite Disney theme parks, a trip to Disney World  can be just as much fun for the grown-ups as it is for the kids. You just might want to live the kids at home for this trip.

Room rates start at $327 per night. Rooms range from studios to two-bedroom villas, with the two-bedroom villas going for about $618 per night.

Attractions at this nautical-themed resort include a super-high waterslide, a lazy river, and three whirlpools. Like Disney’s Old Key West Resort, guests have access to airline check-in at the resort, transportation to and from the airport (Orlando International) and transportation around the resort on the Disney bus.

Anyone who seeks a beautiful and relaxing place to dwell near the Magic Kingdom with a spa, should consider a stay at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Guests can ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. There’s a beach on the resort’s property, and the entire resort has an old fashioned Victorian decor. The good news is that while the adults are being pampered in the Senses Spa at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, the kids can be supervised by a Disney childcare provider.

Disney’s Boardwalk Inn demonstrates that a nice hotel doesn’t have to be old and stuffy. The hotel is fun and a bit whimsical. Just look at the pool with its cool waterslide. Walk along the boardwalk and visit the shops. dance in a nightclub, or play a few midway games. Epcot Center is just a short stroll away.

Animal Kingdom Resort

The Animal Kingdom Resort has at least 200 animals in its grounds. Yes. there are some giraffes, zebras, and flamingos hanging around. So, if you dreamed of staying at a safari resort, but you can’t get out of the country, the Animal Kingdom resort might be the resort that you are looking for. This African-themed resort also has a huge African art collection on the property and a gigantic pool (11,000 square feet) with a big slide. Keeping to its African theme, the pool area is surrounded by plants and trees. The Animal Kingdom Resort is located in the vicinity of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The food at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is said to be superb. The resort’s signature dining establishment is called Jiko, the Cooking Place. Jiko serves African dishes, Indian cuisines, and Mediterranean foods. The menu is updated every season, but guests can expect to find temptations like filet mignon and succulent shrimp. A children’s menu is available.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort provides guests with a tropical vacation experience in the Magic Kingdom area. The resort is currently undergoing upgrades (May 2014) to a portion of the beach, the Great Ceremonial House, and the Nanea Volcano pool, among other areas.

Apparently, some travelers had been dropping their teens off at the park and allowing them to experience the park on their own. It goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway) that parents had pre-teens who were charged with watching over younger children at the park.  The new Disney  rule can serve two major purposes. The Disney rule for underage children can keep kids safer during their visits to the park and it can help protect Disney property from kids who misbehave when their parents are not around.  The new rule can also help cut out some of the drama that occurs when kids do not have adult supervision. It’s pretty awkward for other families and Disney staff members to  witness unchaperoned children cutting in the line or otherwise behaving badly. You all probably know what can occur when well-meaning adults try to chastise other people’s children.

The greater issue rests in the children’s safety. Although children can get hurt while their parents are around, they are certainly safer when they are under the watchful eye of an adult. So, parents will supervise their children who are under 14, which will make Disney staff members happy and Disney guests happy, but what about Disney’s there’s something for everyone marketing plan? Parents with 12 and 13-year-olds won’t be able to drop their teens off at the parks while the adults have some alone time.

Has anyone noticed the Disney commercial that targets travelers who do not have children? The commercial spotlights Disney as a place that adults can enjoy without the kids. Maybe Disney fans will see more of that, because Disney has a fair share of properties and attractions for the grown-ups. Who knows? Perhaps Disney will offer nanny services specifically for its theme parks (for a fee).
