P&O Cruises Australia added two ships to its fleet, bringing the total to five ships. The additions, Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden cruise year-round from eight ports in Australia.

P&O had two events to welcome the ships. First, the company showed off its fleet of five in the Sydney Harbor. Next the company introduced the ships during a naming ceremony in which Twitter was involved.

During the naming ceremony, two celebrities, Australian singer Jessica Mauboy and Kate Ritchie christened the ships on Twitter as the ships sailed on the Sydney Harbor. A traditional bottle of champagne was smashed on the ships during the christening.

The two new ships are sisters, with the same amenities. The Aria and the Eden hold 1,500 passengers. They have nine decks. On the top deck of each ship is a pool with a retractable roof. The top deck has an area to enjoy the live music on the trip or to simply lounge around with beverages.

On the ships, the Oasis is a child-free zone, where adults can relax in serenity, and the Blue Room has live music all night long and during the day.
