Where was the finale of The Bachelor 10 filmed? Sean Lowe wined and dined Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter at the Anantara Gold Triangle Resort and Spa in Chiang Saen, Thailand.

With 77 rooms and suites, this Northern Thailand resort is known as Asia’s Elephant Camp, because the elephants live there in their natural habitat. That’s why Catherine remarked on The Bachelor that there were elephants just walking around. Guests at the Anantara Gold Triangle can actually choose a different activity for each night that they stay. They have the choice between the Elephant Camp, a cooking class, a spa treatment or a private excursion.

In preparation for the surge of people who watched the proposal between Sean and Catherine and hope to have their own exotic and romantic Thailand getaway,  the Anantara is offering an all-inclusive package that will recreate some of experiences that viewers saw in the finale. The package includes an experience at Elephant Camp, a cooking class, spa treatment, and a private excursion. The rate is 41,000 THB or $1,385.79 per night for a minimum of three nights.

The Thailand Resort Where Sean Lowe Stayed for The Bachelor

Sean Lowe and his dates stayed at this luxury resort in Thailand during the filming of the Week 8 Episode. As far as the excursions are concerned, Sean and AshLee explored a cave called Emerald Cave. Although AshLee was worried that they’d get lost in the cave, she really didn’t have too much to worry about. Emerald Cave, also known as Morakot Cave, is only about 262 feet from the entrance to the exit, according to 7 Thai Wonders. The cave’s exit leads out onto a beautiful beach that is surrounded by emerald waters.

Monkey Beach: Sean in Thailand

In another scene of The Bachelor, Sean Lowe and his date Lindsay played with Monkeys on a beach that is appropriately named, Monkey Beach. Monkey Beach is located in Phi Phi Island, and it is accessible via a tour on a longtail boat. Anyone who would like to visit Monkey Beach, will find it on Yong Kasem Bay on Phi Phi, reports Phuket Travel Secrets. Be careful, though. The monkeys might bite, and it is possible to contract rabies from a monkey bite. Also be aware that there is another destination Thailand, called Monkey Bay, but Sean wrote specifically about Monkey Beach in his blog.

Si Kao Market

There are probably dozens of markets in Thailand, but Sean and Lindsay shopped and sampled bugs at Si Kao Market, the market located in the same vicinity as their resort. They wanted to have a date and experience an ordinary activity, but with all of the exotic and interesting items for sale at the market, the date was far from ordinary. I shopped at the market in Krabi during my visit to Thailand, and I found some beautiful jewelry there.

Finally, Sean and Catherine rode a boat past some gorgeous rocks, which protruded from the ocean. One of the rocks was called Chicken Rock, Sean informed us in his blog. The couple also snorkeled. As you can imagine, snorkeling is a popular activity near Phi Phi, because the water is incredibly clear.

Earlier that day, the couple took a  catamaran  to a private island near St. Croix, where they talked, actually Ashley told Sean why the other girls did not like Tierra. As Sean Lowe and Ashley held each other on the smooth beach, viewers were treated to romantic views of the water and the sunset. Tierra, however, toured the streets of St. Croix during her one-on-one date with Sean Lowe. The two went shopping on the streets of St. Croix, and Sean bought her an infinity bracelet. These special bracelets are sold by IB Designs.  They also saw a colorful parade in the streets of St. Croix.

Viewers had an opportunity to see the street vendors, including some of the snacks sold on the island. During the group date, the ladies and Sean were the first people in America to see the sunrise over Point Udall, and at the end of the date, the watch the sun set over Sandy Pointe. During the date, they hopped into a jeep, and drove to the historic Sugar Mill where they had a view of the ocean.  Their road trip too them to a cafe, where they toasted to the fun road trip. Next, they drove through the rain forest and played in a tree house there. In a playful scene with Sean, Desiree swung in a cute swing in the rain forest. Overall, for all of those travelers out there, the episode highlighted the island as a luxurious destination for fun and romance.
