										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.dallasarboretum.org/visit/seasonal-festivals-events/dallas-blooms" target="_blank">Dallas Blooms</a>, the largest floral festival in the Southwest will come to the Dallas Arboretum on February 27 through April 10, 2016. The festival will include about 100 different bulbs and 500,000 blooms, according to a recent release. This year&#8217;s theme is &#8220;The Artistry in Nature&#8221;.</p>
<p>Visitors will see a colorful collection of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, pansies, violas, and poppies. During the finale of the celebration, onlookers will be treated to a mass of 3,000 blooming azaleas.</p>
<p>There are some special activities during the festival. Families can bring their children to <em>Mommy and Me Mondays</em> and <em>Tiny Tot Tuesdays</em> from February 29 to April 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This portion of the festival will include children&#8217;s activities. Face painting, zoo animals, and  stories. These special events will take place at Pecan Grove at the <a href="http://www.dallasarboretum.org/named-gardens-features/pecan-grove" target="_blank">Dallas Arboretum</a>.</p>
<p>This year, artist Gary Lee Price&#8217;s art collection which includes sculptures of Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, Claude Monet, Mark Twain, William Shakespeare, and George Washington. Price is a fellow of the National Sculpture Society. His life-sized bronze sculptures will be found throughout the spring garden.</p>
