To get the miles, users must have a room booked at an IHG hotel in Amerca. They must have the IHG app and use the Uber button on the IHG hotel app to request an Uber car.

The $20 discount will be applied to the ride and a voucher for the 2,000 IHG rewards points will be sent from Uber via e-mail. The reward points can be used for IHG hotels around the world.
