The San Francisco Travel Association announced events for Super Bowl 50. The Superbowl is scheduled for February 7, 2016. It will be held in Santa Clara, California, but there will a lot of the Superbowl action will be in San Francisco.

From Saturday, January 30th to February 7th, visitors can participate in the activities at the NFL Experience. The NFL Experience is a theme park with games, game clinics, retail shops, and autographs from players during special sessions. NFL Experience tickets are $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and younger.

On February 1st, Superbowl City, a free attraction, will take place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Stationed at Justin Herman Plaza on Market Street, Superbowl City will have family attractions like the Fan Energy Zone. The Fan Energy Zone features interactive games on giant screens, and presentations from community members, celebrities, autograph sessions and DJs and MCs.

The Superbowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade kicks off on February 1st at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The event officially starts at 5 p.m., but media interviews  with the players and coaches kick-off at 5:15 p.m. lasting through 6:16 p.m. and the interviews will continue from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific Time. Fans will receive gift bags. It has been revealed that the audience will get radios to listen to the interviews. Fans can also expect to experience at least one musical performance and catch an appearance from cheerleaders.
