So, he said that he would not bother anyone if they didn’t bother him. JoJo really liked Jordan. She said that she wasn’t sure if he was into her the way she was into him. JoJo revealed that she gets nervous around Jordan, because he seemed to be so good and so smooth. Jordan admitted that he was developing feelings for JoJo and it was difficult for him to be open. It takes time, he said.

Chad overheard Derek talking about him to JoJo, and Chad wondered out loud why he was usually the topic of conversation among the guys. Chad warned Derek not to talk about him, and Derek told him that if JoJo asked him about Chad, he’ll tell her what he said.

Christian, Ali, Nick B. didn’t get a rose, during the rose ceremony. They were sent home during week 3 of the Bachelorette.  Chad did get a rose.

The group went to Pennsylvania and were accommodated at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

The fellas took jeeps to Arden Estates, where they were going to stay. Luke got the one-on-one with JoJo, and they went on a dog sled ride. They were going to get into a romantic wood-fire tub, but Luke had to chop the wood, first. They stripped down to their bathing suits, and prepared to get in, but when JoJo put her toe in, she pulled back quickly, because the water was too hot.

A gentlemen, Luke helped JoJo get into the hot tub when the water cooled off, and she expressed that she wanted to know much more about this bachelor.

Meanwhile, Chad was back at the house thinking out loud that JoJo was going to leave his date until last, just to make sure that she didn’t like any of the other guys.

On the next date card was Derek, James T., Daniel, Chase, Wells, James F. Evan, Grant, Jordan, and Robbie were on the group date. Alex and Chad were on the two on one date.

Then JoJo and Luke went to the Supper Club to eat. She said that she had the best time with Luke. During their date, Luke shared some details about his life.  Luke was in a leadership position in the military. He learned that one of his best friends from home was killed in Afghanistan. After JoJo gave Luke the rose and said that Luke perfectly fits what she wants in a man, she walked Luke to another building with hundreds of screaming fans. They slow danced on stage while Dan + Shay serenaded them.

For the group date, the guys played football with professional football legends. They were aggressive beyond belief. James Taylor had blood gushing out of his head. The guys were divided into teams, the blue team and the white team. The blue team was clearly the underdog with James Taylor, Evan, and Derek (who was also injured) on it. However, this time the underdogs were victorious. Chase was extremely upset that his team didn’t win the time with JoJo.

JoJo and Jordan spent some time together and JoJo mentioned that he was extremely hard to read, but Jordan was still having a hard time opening up. He finally shared with her that he was falling for her. JoJo said that the group date with the guys was one of the best days of her life, and she gave the rose to Jordan.

Next, Chad and Alex got their date card. They had the expected two-on-one date. Every time anyone said anything to Chad there was some sort of a confrontation. He asked who had a problem with him, and all of the guys raised their hands. Alex promised that after their date, the problem with Chad was going to go away permanently.

Alex told JoJo about how he threatened the other guys in the house and how he is a different person in the house than when he is around her. JoJo seemed to believe Alex when she heard that Chad had threatened Jordan and said that he was going to find him after the show ends and beat him. JoJo told Chad that she gave him a second chance, and she was definitely irritated. What did Chad say? He said that he didn’t fight anyone, he just threatened them so they would be quiet.

Needless to say, JoJo figured out that Chad was not the nice guy that she thought he was, and she dismissed him promptly during the two-on-one date. Everyone was relieved that Chad was gone. But at the end of the episode, they heard him knocking on the door.

They were instructed to actually have a tantrum on the floor as part of their yoga routine. There was an intimate moment when JoJo sat in Chase’s lap in a straddling position. “Straddling Chase, looking into his eyes, sweating all over each other, I feel safe in his arms, and I’ve only known him for a week, but I’m feeling like I’m connected with him. I’m feeling like I’ve known him a lot longer than I have,” JoJo said. Chase also felt the connection.

Later that night, at the Triunfo Creek Vineyard,  in Agoura Hills, California, JoJo talked about how uncomfortable she was during the beginning of the yoga session and how she felt connected with him, safe, and protected as the yoga session progressed. Chase also shared how important it was to him that he finds the right woman, because he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Needless to say, JoJo gave Chase a rose. There was a special romantic ending to the date. They had a special performance from country singer, Charles Kelly and they danced together outside under the stars. “This is the start of something really amazing,” JoJo said. “I can feel it.”

Jordan, Grant, Wells, James F.,Christian, Daniel, Denny, Nick, Evan, Alex, and Chad were on a group date. The message said, “Love has no secrets.” Chad said that he didn’t want to go on a group date with 12 guys. The guys told him to be more thankful that had the opportunity to go on a group date.

James F. urged the guys to try to work together as a team on the group date. Whatever team’s Chad’s on, let’s hope it’s a bench press competition, not a spelling contest,” Jordan said.

Chad was offended and called Jordan a failed football player and that all Jordan ever did in his life was throw a piece of leather.

Jordan laughed it off, but Alex called him out and wouldn’t back down. He let it be known that he was not the least little bit intimidated by Chad. The next day, the guys and JoJo went to the Atwater Village Theatre for their date. They had to tell their most embarrassing sex stories on stage to a room full of strangers. Chad said that he didn’t have a story, and he didn’t want to share it. He actually sad that it wasn’t her business.

Evan, a 33-year-old Erectile Dysfunction Specialist from Nashville, admitted that he wanted to mess with Chad and that his man claws were going to come out. Now, Evan has a far smaller build than Chad, a muscular guy who loves to work out every chance he gets.

“They are way kinkier than I ever imagined,” JoJo said. There were stories about getting caught having sex, stories about bodily sounds when having sex, Evan talked about the dangers of using steroids, and Chad was pissed.

“When Evan gets knocked out by Chad, no one’s going to be surprised,” said Grant, a 28-year-old firefighter from San Francisco.

After his performance, Evan tried to sit down in his seat, and Chad grabbed him. JoJo saw what she called a weird altercation between them. Chad brought JoJo on stage when it was his turn to tell his story. He said that “They know nothing about what’s going on between me and you. so I don’t think the day’s about the past. I think it’s about the future, and with that being said…”

He tried to have a passionate kiss with JoJo on stage, but she turned her head away and he ended up kissing her on the cheek.And she shook her head “no”. He didn’t tell a story, and Chad was rejected on stage.

Chad was so angry that he hit a wall and his knuckles were bloody.

Evan told Chad that he owes him an apology, and Chad advised him to leave him alone. All of the guys left from the group date at that point.

By now, Evan’s misgivings about Chad had raised a few more levels. He told JoJo that he would not be staying in the house if Chad stayed. This put JoJo in a bad spot, because she wasn’t privy to all of the information that the guys had about Chad. JoJo still felt that Chad had some good qualities. She also felt that Evan had some good qualities, so she didn’t want to let either of them go just yet. When it was tim.e to give away the rose for the group date, she pulled Evan aside to talk with him. It seemed as though he would be going home, since he was the only one to give JoJo an ultimatum like that.

JoJo, however surprised him and offered Evan the rose. She did admit that she still wasn’t sure if she was going to send Chad home or not. So, she didn’t make any promises. Evan accepted the rose, anyway.

Then, when JoJo announced to the rest of group that she had given the rose the Evan, Chad couldn’t believe and it mouthed off. JoJo said that she didn’t like that. She was highly annoyed. The bachelors were so unedge about Chad snapping that a security guard was assigned to him.

James Taylor, 29, a singer and songwriter from Katy, Texas was chosen for the second one-on-one date. They did some swing dancing. JoJo admitted that she wanted to move into having a romantic date with him. So, they had a romantic evening in a beautiful park overlooking the city. James admitted that he was made fun of when he was younger, and JoJo told him not to worry. He was the whole package. He earned a rose. And then, James serenaded her with a song that he wrote.

That night, James and JoJo moved out of the friend zone.

Back at the house, Evan spoke with Chris about Chad’s threats and Chris promised to step in. When he spoke with Chad, he told him to settle everything, with an approach that would be well-received. The conversation only made Chad angrier, and he muttered something about throwing bodies in the pool. The episode was “to be continued”.
