Black Ink Chicago: Where Did Don and Ashley Get Married?

Ashley Pickens and Don Brumfield were married on the Black Ink Crew Chicago episode which aired on November 28, 2016. Where did Don and Ashley from the Black Ink Crew, Chicago get married and where was that mansion? Read on! The wedding scenes were filmed in the Dominican Republic in June at the Melia Caribe Tropical resort. See the images below.

So here’s the big question? Where was the mansion where Don and Ashley were married on Black Ink Crew Chicago? It was on the grounds of the Punta Cana Resort, (which has mansions and a couple resorts on its property) but be aware that it’s a little tricky to track down the owners of that particular rental, and did you notice that the staff’s faces were blurred out on the show? During the scene when they were having breakfast, for example, the staff’s faces were obscured. The Punta Cana Resort didn’t want the resort’s name or staff on the Black Ink (which features people of color). And the name of the resort isn’t mention in the Special Thanks section in the credits on the show.

Don had his share of bachelor party thrills with plenty of strippers, and there were some questionable moments when he had a stripper in his bedroom in the DR. Ashley, who saw evidence of his fun via a snapshots on her brother’s fun. Instead of her brother sitting back and telling Ashley what really happened, he joined in on the fun; he picked up one of the strippers, flung her over his shoulder and took her off.

Ashley was devastated. She cried off her make-up and was on the brink of calling the wedding off. Don was late, hungover from all of the partying that he did the night before. And his white wedding dress shirt was dirty. Ashley screamed her frustrations at him, but eventually decided that Don had a good heart and decided to go on with the wedding after she got her make-up touched up.

The wedding was held in the wedding gazebo at the Melia Caribe Tropical. The hotel boasts nine outdoor pools and a romantic and idyllic location for weddings.

The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant. Cheese fondues, chocolate fondues, salads and entrees are on the menu at the Melting Pot.

Jade Roper from the Bachelor in Paradise and Tanner Tolbert were married in a Bachelor special, The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love, that aired on February 14, 2016 on ABC. Tanner proposed to Jade on the Bachelor in Paradise. Jade’s dress was designed by Galia Lahav, according to the Kansas City Star.

Chris Harrison hosted the two-hour Bachelor special, which had the largest turn-out of Bachelor cast members in the history of the show.

The Avery Claire, a 52-foot yacht will be featured in a November episode of Hot Hawaiian Weddings, a show that airs on Sunday nights on KFVE TV. In the episode, a Hawaiian couple, Tina Truncellito and Justen Laupola took the Avery Claire for a romantic excursion off the coast of the island.
