The ladies from R&B Divas LA went on a road trip to Palm Springs for a mini vacation. On the show, the ladies planned for Lil Mo to get her dream proposal.
Lil Mo’s husband Karl Dargan surprised her with a ring in the Rock Star suite of the Hard Rock Hotel. Although she said in a previous episode of the show that they had been married during a civil service, Lil Mo did not have the wedding proposal that she always wanted.
Karl made things right. He posed as a room service attendant and popped the question after the ladies ordered desert in their suite. Instead of bringing sweet pastries to the suite, he presented Lil Mo with a ring and asked her to marry him.
Lil Mo was completely shocked. She did’t expect to see her husband in Palm Springs, and she certainly didn’t have any clue that he was going to propose with a big fat diamond.
The management of the Hard Rock Hotel were a part of the show. The manager had told Lil Mo and the girls that she was going to upgrade the Divas’ room to the Rock Star Room that’s pictured below. Here’s a look at that celebrity-friendly room.
Rock Star Room
This Rock Star bedroom is always to pretty to sleep in. The suite is 1,503 square feet big. It has several flat screen TVs that range from 42″ to 60 inches. It also has a patio that extends along the length of the suite. The suite has three connecting rooms.
Exterior of the Hard Rock Hotel
The Hard Rock hotel is made for rock stars. It’s extremely glamorous, perfect for a girl’s get away.
Entrance of the Hard Rock
The lobby of the Hard Rock is designed with striking gold music instruments.
The tremendous Speaker Tower actually plays music. Would you dare get close to it?
The Pool at the Hard Rock Hotel
The R&B Divas (minus Chantel Moore and Chrisette Michele) relaxed and played in the pool at the Hard Rock. Brave tried to teach Leela James how to swim. Although Leela still couldn’t swim after they splashed around a bit, she got the chance to ride on a huge yellow rubber duck.
