Butler ready to serve afternoon tea at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong

The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is collaborating with Graff Diamonds to provide guests with the unique experience of having lunch and tea among some of the most beautiful jewels in the world. For about $10,880 HK for two, guests will eat cuisine prepared by Ritz-Carlton chef Peter Find. Nearby will be a  a trunk that showcases handcrafted Graff jewelry, and the guests can try on and appreciate the exquisite jewelry during tea time. The Ritz-Carlton reports that there will be hundreds of carats on display in the handmade trunk.

This incredible tea will include delicacies like Osetra caviar, foie gras apple, smoked salmon rose, black truffles, vanilla panna cotta and other options. Fine beverages,  2004 Louis Roederer Cristal Brut and Chauteau d’yquem Sauterne will be paired with the cuisine. Guests will be served loose-leaf tea on Vera Wang china. The tea will create lifelong memories among even the elite who have large personal jewelry collections. Most personal collections will not rival the content of the high tea jewelry trunk.

The jewelry and the gourmet cuisine will be shelved in close proximity in this special trunk, designed to showcase both the gourmet hors’doeuvres and the brilliant diamonds and gems.  Said to be an opulent treat, The Most Fabulous High Tea in the World will actually take place in the highest hotel in the world. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is on the 102 through 118th floors of the International Commerce Centre building. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong has 312 guest rooms and six dining venues. Guests are treated to outstanding views of Hong Kong from their hotel rooms, suites, and the hotel’s common areas.
