Marriott’s MegaBonus program, a hotel special which offers a free night to guests who stay at the hotel for two nights has returned. The guests must stay at a Marriott between February 1 and April 20th for two consecutive nights (at the same hotel) to get the free night. The free night could be used up to a year after it is earned in the MegaBonus program, and it will be available within five days after the second night of accommodations in the hotel.
Registration for the MegaBonus points system must occur before March 15. Some of the Marriott brands that are participating in the program include, Autograph Collection® Hotels, AC Hotels by Marriott(SM) JW Marriott®, EDITION®, Gaylord Hotels, Renaissance® Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts®, Courtyard by Marriott®, SpringHill Suites by Marriott®, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott®, TownePlace Suites by Marriott®, and Marriott Vacation Club®, Residence Inn by Marriott® and the The Ritz-Carlton.
Aside from this offer, the program is free to join anytime, and members earn points that are redeemable for travel offers, including car rentals, frequent flyer miles and retail items. The free-night offer is not available to people who are designating their points to earn frequent flier miles.
