United Airlines mechanics picketed in major cities across the United States on February 26, 2016 and warned United Airlines passengers more pickets to come. The mechanics didn’t approve the United Airlines contract in a vote last week. The majority of the Teamsters voted in favor of going on strike. At airports throughout the U.S. the mechanics held up signs that read “On Strike — Not Yet” and handed out pamphlets to warn airline passengers of a possible future strike against United Airlines this summer.
