Ben Higgins and the women from the Bachelor were in Mexico for the week five episode. The episode aired on February 1, 2016 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern on ABC. The bachelorettes stayed at the Four Seasons in Mexico. When the date card arrived, they all found out that Amanda had the first one-on-one date in Mexico City.

Ben woke Amanda and the rest of the house at 4 a.m. The couple saw Mexico by air in a hot air balloon. Amanda had been concerned that she had been away from her daughters for several weeks.

The rest of the women had a Spanish lesson. Next, they went to Restaurante Carbon where Chefs Nico and Lula, owners of the restaurants. Olivia insisted that Ben be her partner. Jubilee wanted Ben to be her partner, too. Olivia won and had Ben to herself during the activity.They needed to go shopping and ask for the ingredients that they needed to make a dish. Off the women went to the market.

The women participated in a cook-off. All of the women were laughing and giggly while cook, but Jubilee was extremely serious and a little distant. It turns out that she won the cooking contest., but that didn’t help her in the end.

Lauren H. got the second one-on-one date. She had the opportunity to participate in Fashion Week in Mexico. She walked down the runway in designer clothes. She was frightened, but she made it happen.

Jubilee was feeling intense feelings for Ben. Her jealousy of the affection that he showed the other girls killed her chances of having Ben to herself. She pulled away from Ben when he tried to hold her hand, and let it be known to him that she wasn’t happy with the situation. Ben sent Jubilee home before the rose ceremony. He told her privately, during the group cocktail party.
