Marriott International released it’s Anything Else app to 500 of it’s hotels worldwide in May and has followed up with introducing the app to locations in the Asia Pacific area. The Anything Else App, now available for guests who are Marriott Rewards Members is available for 100 Marriott hotels in the Asia Pacific area. The app allows these guests to send requests/chat messages to hotel staff 48 hours before their stay and a day after their stay, Marriott announced on November 28, 2015.
The theory is that guests can plan ahead and ask for extras wherever they might be in the world. For example, a Rewards Member who likes to plan ahead can order extra towels, arrange for valet service, or arrange for a wake up call before arriving to the hotel. Taking care of little details before the stay can help guests feel more relaxed during a hotel stay.
