The World Ski Awards has awarded Stein Eriksen Lodge the award for the Best Ski Hotel in the World, announced hotel representatives on November 23, 2015. This is the second year that the lodge has earned the award. Stein Eriksen is a 5 star hotel in Park City, Utah.

Stein Eriksen was declared the winner of this prestigious award at the 2015 Ski Oscars Award Ceremony in Austria.

More than 2 million votes were cast for the award. Voters were professionals in the ski industry and hospitality industry consumers. There were 162 accommodations vying for the award. That number was whittled down to 13 finalists.

At the awards ceremony, Stein Eriksen, himself, received an award for Outstanding Contribution to Ski Tourism. Stein Eriksen is a Norwegian skier who has earned an Olympic Gold Medal for skiing.

Amenities at the Park City, Utah lodge include a hot tub, pool, Jacuzzi, 24-hour room services, a spa, beauty salon, boutiques, daily and nightly room service, and more.  The lodge offers horseback riding, a health club, and a restaurant.

Some of the highlights of the amenities in the rooms include: jetted tubes and separate showers, flat screen TVs, refrigerators, plush terry robes and slippers, wi-fi, and breakfast is provided during the ski season, from December 4th to April 10th

In addition to skiing, Park City, Utah has other activities that revolve around snow, like snow tubing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling. Hot air balloon rides, hiking, golf, and biking.
