When it’s time to get over the winter blues, blue skies, blue water, and white sandy beaches beckon. Spring Break usually begins in March and lasts until the April. School and universities have different schedules. Sometimes the party season begins as soon as February. Here are some of the spots to find some Spring Break fun.

1. Miami Beach, Florida

South Beach in Miami is one of the most liveliest Spring Break destinations in the United States.  Who could resist the sun, wide beaches, and all of the beautiful people?

2. Cancun, Mexico

Basking on idyllic beaches during the day and wild partying at night are typical activities in Cancun. Partiers participate in organized activities, many with open bars. Take the party out to sea on the Caribbean Carnival a booze cruise, which also has plenty of wild games, too. That’s Cancun.

3. Cabos San Lucas, Mexico

Similar to Cancun in terms of its party atmosphere, Cabos San Lucas is yet another popular Spring Break destination in Mexico. It’s proximity to the states, yet its exceptionally laid back feel is perfect for travelers with lower budgets. For those who like varied experiences, a toned down experience in Cabos can include deep sea fishing and romantic getaways.

4. Bahamas

Close enough to get there quickly from Miami, yet far away enough to getaway, the Bahamas has both a party scene and an indulgently relaxing side. Cruises to the Blue Lagoon, snorkeling, and gambling are some of the other pastimes for Spring Breakers in the Bahamas.

5. Daytona Beach, Florida

Daytona Beach’s claims to fame are its beaches and racing of course. The beach is 23 miles long of sandy paradise. A portion of the beach, 16-miles, is open to vehicles, including motorcycles and bikes.

6. South Padre Island, Texas

Padre Island is known for its hype Spring Break beach parties and concerts along the coast. Big named stars perform or host these events. For Spring Break 2105 Snoop Dogg and T-Pain are featured on the ads. MTV’s Real World Entourage will also be on San Padre Island in 2015.

7. Venice Beach, California

The boardwalk is the happening place on  Venice Beach for Spring Break. Fantastic street performers are a regular treat on the boardwalk year-round, so Spring Breakers need to keep the dollar bills coming and settle in to meet a lot of people or just people-watch.

8. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach is also known for its boardwalk. The  white sand, oceanfront hotels and hot bars are really the draw, but the weather is fickle. It gets cool in South Carolina. You won’t find tons of Spring Break revelers here, which might be a good thing.

9. Panama City Beach

Panama City Beach in Panama City Florida also caters to the Spring Break crowd. Activities can include bar crawls on a bar party bus, and pool parties on the beach.

10. Jamaica

Montego Bay and Negril are two of the popular hot spots in Jamaica for Spring Break, but some Spring Breakers head to Ocho Rios to jump off Jamaica’s Dunn’s River Falls. Who could resist reggae, guaranteed warm weather, and all-night partying in one of the hippest destinations in the world?
