The Marriott Marquis Dubai celebrated its grand opening this month with a VIP party and a performance by singer, Leona Lewis.  The hotel is 355 meters (that’s 1164.7 feet) tall and it’s 77 floors high. The hotel consists of two towers . The second tower opens in 2014. Inside this five-star hotel, guests will find 14 dining venues, 804 rooms and a spa and health club. Located in the Dubai business district, the hotel is being marketed as a business hotel. Rooms have both wireless and wired internet connections, while public areas offer wireless connectivity.
