The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa near Palm Springs, California is introducing a new package, called a selfie package with rooms starting at $399 per night. The package includes a selfie stick for photographs around the 450 acre property. The stick has a built-in phone cradle to hold a cell phone for those infamous selfie poses. To aid guests who wish to capture their very best poses, the package will include a selfie map, which highlights some of the more picturesque areas at the Desert Springs.

The package also includes accommodations for two and a $50 resort credit for each night booked at the resort. Guests are invited to post their photos on Instagram using the hashtags #SpringSelfie, #DesertSprings, #DesertPlayground and #HaveItAll. Every month the resort will choose a winning photo and that guest will get a room upgrade for the next time that they visit. The promotion lasts from March 1st to May 31st 2015.
