The Black Ink Crew headed to Paris during season 3 of the show. Dutchess (Christana Lattimore) was invited to model for a tattoo magazine, and she invited Quani. She wanted to rebuild her friendship with her, and she felt that Quani could use some time away from some of the stress in her life back home. While in Paris, Dutchess got sick, argued with Sassy (who invited herself on the trip) and got a little lonely.

Ceaser realized that he missed Dutchess and decided to go to Paris to surprise her. While in Paris, Ceaser took Dutchess to the famous lock bridge. He had an engraved lock ready for them. They put their lock on the bridge to symbolize their love for each other.

It’s difficult to find a space to put your lock on the lock bridge.

Most of the people write inscriptions with a marker but you can get a fancier engraved inscription like the one that the Black Ink Crew’s owner, Caesar had for Duchess.

Here, you can see just how large the bridge is. Ceasar took a big step beyond merely taking Dutchess to the lock bridge. He proposed to her in Paris.
