At its Dominican Republic, Punta Cana location, Club Med opened a new adult’s only zen area, designed to provide adult guests with peace and serenity at the 631-room resort. The Zen Oasis section has its own concierge, a pool with in-water lounge chairs, a separate lap pool, and a quiet beach.
A new beach lounge, the Indigo Beach Lounge at the resort provides waterfront dining from an all-day restaurant. Dinner is adults-only. The restaurant closes after dinner, and once the restaurant closes, the venue re-opens as a nightclub for even more adult fun.
The Dominican Republic resort also added new guestrooms. Club Med added 78 Zen Oasis rooms that feature spa-like comfort. These rooms have deep soaking tubs, rainfall showers, and soothing lighting in the bathroom. Outside, there are soft daybeds located in either the gardens or on the terraces. Inside, the rooms have upgraded Smart TVs with a free movie library, and guests can access their private Netflix or Spotify accounts. There’s wi-fi access.
Also new at Club Med is a second-floor addition in the spa with two VIP Spa Couples Suites including treatment beds and a cozy sofa. There’s another room with hydrotherapy tubs and for more bath comfort, the spa has added a new VIP Bath Suite. The VIP Spa Couples Suites have huge windows and views of the beach.
