The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club’s rating was promoted from three diamonds to four diamonds.  The rating is earned by less than 5 percent of the AAA rated accommodations. The new rating comes on the heels of over $45 million in renovations that the hotel has completed over the last six years. The renovations including new decor and remodeling of over 300 guest rooms and suites and the addition of a new ballroom. In 2010 the hotel added two new beachfront pools to the property.

The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club underwent improvements to its golf course and its restaurant, HUB’s on the Gulf. The resort is distinguished from others in the area because it is the only beachfront resort in the region with a championship golf course on the property, spa, and tennis center. This Southwest Florida resort accommodates special events in a 6,283-square-foot ballroom called the River of Grass Ballroom. The smaller 2,457-square-foot ballroom, the Mangrove Ballroom and two lawn spaces, Watkins Lawn and the Ocean Lawn are also used  for special events.

The resort is owned by the Watkins family, and it has been a fixture on the coast of Naples since 1946. It’s location allows guests to take advantage of Naples’ cultural venues, theaters and art galleries. The resort is in the perfect location for visiting the Everglades, the zoo, botanical gardens, or Corkscrew swamp. It is also located near luxurious shopping districts.
