London is one of the most tweeted about destinations, according to research from London & Partners, the official promotional company for London. London & Partners reported that the word, “London” was tweeted 81 million times in 2015. London was combined with words like travel, art, and fashion when mentioned in social media.
Anyone who admires London should watch the the Fans of London video (above) and keep an eye out for Fans of London activities. The short YouTube Fans of London video spotlights Christine Meer, an American London fan who was handpicked by London officials to travel and given the VIP treatment. Meer had access to the Historic Royal Palaces and was pampered in a special royal makeover.
Fans of London events include important events like the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s legacy, the Queen’s 90th birthday, and the play, Harry Potter, the Cursed Child.
The Fans of London has a few contests going on for trips to London. Here’s another look at what Christine won.
“I have been a huge fan of the British Monarchy ever since I can remember, and have always loved learning about their rich history, as well following the legacy of the younger Royals,” said Christine Meer, who is from Columbus, Ohio. To come to London for the very first time and experience the palaces as an insider was like a dream come true for me.”
