Hilton Worldwide and IBM collaborated to present Connie, a robot concierge who will provide Hilton’s guests with local travel information and information on the amenities at Hilton’s properties.
Connie the robot will accompany Hilton staff to answer guests’ questions and offer suggestions to enrich their travels. Connie is currently working at Virginia’s Hilton McLean.
Connie is able to use natural language to communicate. The robot can also use text to speech and speech to text as forms of communication.
