Six Flags Over Georgia in metro Atlanta unveiled its new virtual reality roller coaster.

How Does it Work?

When riding the New Revolution Virtual Reality Roller Coaster, visitors wear headsets by Samsung Gear VR during the experience. The storyline for the ride is that Earth needs to be saved from aliens and riders will act as co-pilots in fast-flying fighter jets to save the day.

The ride will take thrill-seekers up 100 feet to the top of a virtual skyscraper and down at a 95-degree angle to a building’s edge. This fast-paced ride, reaches speeds up to 55 miles per hour.
