Kenya Moore, former beauty queen and current cast member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, told the world her technique for smoothing her acne-prone skin. RHOA viewers might have noticed that her skin is clearer than in previous seasons. That is because she has been clearing her skin with the magic of a dermatologist. She praised Schweiger Dermatology Group and Dr. Julie Zuckerman and the skin laser treatments that are effective for darker skin. The treatments work to diminish the appearance of acne scars.
Traditionally, darker skin tones can have an adverse reaction to laser treatment. The skin can end up darker or in worse condition than before, but Kenya found a treatment that works for her.
Kenya wrote that the procedure works well on uneven skin tones, scars, wrinkles and also pitted scars. She used the treatment to help her smooth away her pitted scars.
Kenya and Schweiger Dermatology Group are working together to give away a procedure. To enter, visit @schweigerderm on Instagram and comment to enter. The entry period ends soon. There are only two days left to enter.
Kenya’s doctor, Dr. Julie Zuckerman used a CO2 laser and Fraxel to help reduce the appearance of her pitted scars.
The lovely @thekenyamoore came into @sdg_penthouse yesterday for a laser session with @juliezuckermanpac to help improve her acne scars. Darker skin tones can safely get laser treatments too!
