On the Real Housewives of New York, Ramona Singer left the party early, but she was sorry about what she said to Dorinda Medley about her boyfriend, John Mahdessian. She didn’t mean to hurt Dorinda by telling her that her husband had been saying inappropriate things about their relationship.
Then there was Bethenny Frankel, Dorinda’s good friend, who talked about Dorinda’s boyfriend excessive partying. It was all more than Dorinda could take. So when John showed up at the party to pick up her from the party, with his buzz on and with dilated eyes, her friends had an ah ha moment in the episode that aired at 9 p.m. on April 20, 2016 on BRAVO. When John came to the party the tense situation from last week’s Real Housewives of New York episode grew worse.
John actually got wind of the fact that the women had been talking about him. He knew even before he came into the bra party that there had been some words about him. Bethenny was weirded out by this and wondered out loud what kind of Swammi John could be.
John started in on Bethenny, accusing her of stealing a business name. Bethenny did not forgive John because she felt that he was trying to damage her business reputation
Dorinda managed to calm everything down, but when John started badmouthing Bethenny, the situation became worse.

“I just managed to put this fire out and John is literally walking in with a gallon of gasoline, so basically I’m screwed,” Dorinda said.
“Don’t come in here talking about my business!” Bethenny shouted.
Dorinda was so embarrassed of John’s behavior that she begged him to leave. He took his sweet time and Dorinda was highly upset when he finally left.
“You have both broken my heart,” Dorinda said through her tears. She also told John:”You’re the worst embarrassment I’ve ever been around. Ever!”

But Bethenny said that John proved her point.
“I felt vindicated. I felt like it was a gift from the baby Jesus,” Bethenny said. I just tread so lightly in saying what I really feel. This man just walks in the door and gives me a gift. Here. I’ve just delivered you in 30 minutes or less, exactly what you described.
Dorinda was surprised at John’s public intoxicated ranting.
“I never felt this kind of aggression, and it scares me, because I don’t know how far he’s going to take it,” she said. “It actually scares me on many levels.”

Luann’s Luxurious Apartment Hunt
Meanwhile Luann De Lesseps looked at a couple of apartments. She was interested in moving into a new place. The first place was $9,000 a month.
Next, she went to another building where she saw a three bedroom, 3.5 bathroom apartment for $22,000 a month. The bathroom had double sinks and came with a rear cleansing and front cleansing remote
for the toilet.
Drama in the Hamptons
Although she was upset, Dorinda decided that she would join the women in the Hamptons for Bethenny’s birthday.
Did Dorinda stay with John? She screamed for him to leave the party, and didn’t want to have anything to do with him. But he was forgiven because they were together during the trip to the Hamptons.
While at the Hamptons the Dorinda, Ramona and Bethenny decided to meet and talk at Pierre’s, a local restaurant. Dorinda asked Ramona why she would repeat what she’d heard about her boyfriend in a party. “…it’s despicable and low class,” she said.
They vented about what was said at the party and forgave each other, somewhat. Some damage had been done between their friendship. Dorinda put it best when she said that “winds have changed.”
“Here’s the good news. You do not need to be part of my relationship. I’ve run my life for 50 years on my own,” Dorinda said. “I get to do what I want. I’m not asking for your approval or your approval [pointing at Bethenny and Ramona]. It’s what I choose. Let me figure it out.” In the next episode of the Real Housewives of New York, the group is still in the Hamptons, and Dorinda tries to get John to apologize.
Filming Location Destination Spotlight
Pierre’s is the restaurant where Real Housewives, Dorinda, Bethenny, and Ramona ate to talk about Dorinda’s relationship with John. It’s a cozy French restaurant in Bridgehampton. The restaurant is both sophisticated and casual. It’s open every day and has never closed since its opening in 2002.
