Season 2 of the Bachelor in Paradise was filmed at the Playa Escondida. The reality TV show includes contestants from the Bachelor and the Bachelorette TV shows who were not chosen for love.
Playa Escondida Resort has luxurious, yet rustic villas with stunning views of the beach. The cast from the Bachelor in Paradise stayed in penthouse accommodations, near the beach. While in Sayulita, The Bachelor in Paradise couples could play in Playa Escondida’s private beach and relax on the shore where the turquoise water and clean warm sand meets. They even had access to a beach bar.
In last season’s version of the Bachelor in Paradise the singles were housed on-camera at custom-made bungalows in Tulum, Mexico. Like last year, the singles are coupling up and participating in romantic excursions.

Early in the fist episode of the second season, the cast were led to a special area at the Playa Escondida Resort, and Lacy and Marcus were married in Sayulita, Mexico during a surprise (to the cast members) ceremony. The two coupled up last year during the first season of the Bachelor in Paradise.
