Crystal Cruises has agreed to save the SS United States Conservancy and bring it back up to meet modern cruise ship standards. The ship had its first voyage in 1952 and was retired in 1969.It was one of the elegant ships of its time. Crystal Cruises will pay for all of the costs to restore the ship. The SS United States Conservancy was capable of accommodated up to 800 guests.
