Crystal Lagoons won the Guiness World Record for the World’s Largest Manmade Crystal Lagoon. The Crystal Lagoon is 30.8 acres and is located in Citystars Sharm El Sheikh, a tourist attraction that is in Egypt. The project costs $5.5 billion.

The project, once completed will have views of the red sea. It will offer guests 13 miles of white sandy beaches, an 18-hole golf course, a light and sound show, and this resort and residential community will contain high-end hotels and resorts. The Fairmont Citystars Resort is planned for the development (457 guestrooms and 232 homes). The Swissotel Crystal Resort, another resort planned for the property, includes 388 rooms for property guests and 386 apartments. Next, the Raffles Citystars Resort will have 245 rooms and 100 villas for sell, and the Citystars Sharm El Sheikh will have 264 apartments.
